A Wonderful Week at Balmoral Show 2026

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society for inviting us to be part of the Horticultural Tent at the Balmoral Show 2026.

Over the course of the show, we had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of visitors and discussing the benefits of peat-free growing and the important role that quality compost plays in creating healthy, sustainable gardens.

It was encouraging to see so much interest in environmentally friendly gardening practices and to share practical advice with gardeners of all ages and experience levels.

One of the highlights of the event was seeing children get involved by planting sunflower seedlings to take home. We hope they enjoyed nurturing their plants and that the experience inspires the next generation of gardeners.

We were also delighted to run a competition during the show, with one lucky school winning a bulk bag of compost to support their gardening activities. We look forward to hearing how the compost helps their growing projects flourish.

The Horticultural Tent was a fantastic space to engage with the public, and we were pleased to share it with a number of other organisations, including the Ulster Farmers’ Union, The Conservation Volunteers, True Harvest Seeds, and Rural Support. Together, we helped create an informative and welcoming environment where visitors could learn more about gardening, food production, conservation, and rural wellbeing.

Balmoral Show continues to be one of the highlights of the agricultural and horticultural calendar, and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of it. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to chat, ask questions, and learn more about peat-free growing.

We are already looking forward to returning next year.
